Quantum hardware and devices are important components for future quantum networks combining quantum computing and quantum communication. Progress in recent years about quantum hardware and devices include various quantum computing hardware platforms including superconducting qubits, ion traps, neutral atoms, photonic devices and other novel platforms, and various quantum communication progress such as quantum repeaters. The track will showcase novel approaches in quantum device architecture, scalability challenges, coherence enhancement, and error correction techniques. Special emphasis will be on bridging the gap between theoretical quantum science and practical engineering solutions.
